
Travel to any corner of India, and without a doubt, you will find a new variation of mango pickles. It pairs perfectly well with almost any staple meal – parathas, white rice, curd rice, chapattis.
Below is our variation of raw mango pickle – Recipes don’t get any simpler than this. Everything you need is already available in your kitchen.
Raw Mango Pickle:
INGREDIENTS
4 Raw Mango cut into small pieces
½ cup Sesame Oil
2 tsp Mustard powder
1 tbsp Chilli powder
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Pinch of Asafoetida
Salt to taste
Chop the mangoes into ½ inch cubes and transfer to a clean plastic or glass bowl. Pour the oil to cover the pieces. Add all the spices and mix well. Check taste and add more salt and spice as needed.
